FBC Altus exists to glorify God and further His kingdom on earth. In fulfilling our mission, we partner with various organizations in the community. Below are the organizations we partner with each year and ways that you can get involved and serve.
Operation Care is a non-profit organization committed to providing nourishment to the body and spirit; and charitable services to the people in Jackson County. Their mission is to nourish the body and the spirit of men, women and children in our community; by helping them see their potential, value and worth, helping them pull themselves up in times of hardship, and teaching them to be good stewards of the resources God provides for them. Kits of Hope
Kits of Hope is a love project created to provide kids with a bag filled with age appropriate and comfort items they can call their own and to foster hope as they are taken into the foster care system. Their mission is to provide comfort and hope to children in the foster care system.
How you can get involved:
- Donate items to fill bags. You can always bring these by the church office during the year.
- Give financially.
- Volunteer to fill bags.
At FBC, June is our Kits of Hope Mission Month. We are asking each family to donate 1 bag filled with supplies to donate to Kits of Hope. Join us in ministering to those in the foster care system! To find out more ways to volunteer, you can email Kits of Hope.
