Worship at FBC
Worship at First Baptist Altus is a main priority. We worship on Sunday mornings in two separate services to allow more people to attend. Both services have a similar format that encompasses both traditional hymns and contemporary praise music in a blended worship style. The adult choir and praise band sing in the second service, and several live instrumentalists play in both services.
Sunday evenings are a bit more casual at First Baptist, and you might even see folks dressed in jeans and t-shirts. And don’t be surprised by the video cameras—our service broadcasts live in Altus on Channel 33 and on a couple of radio stations as well.
