Till Death Do Us Part: A Minister's Guide to Officiating at Funeral Services

When God called me into the ministry, I never dreamed that I would have as many funerals as I’ve had thus far.  Since coming to Altus, I have averaged approximately 40 funerals per year for the past ten years.  Prior to my coming here, I had officiated 200 or 300 funerals in my ministry.  I felt compelled, by the Lord, to write down some of my experiences from some memorable funeral services.  I also felt it might benefit other ministers to include several sermon outlines they could adopt into their own funeral services.  I certainly don’t consider myself an expert, but I realize that many pastors serve a lifetime and never have as many funerals as I’ve had in my ministry.

I’m told, by some who have read my book that they laughed and cried as they read it.  That is exactly what I hoped to accomplish by telling the stories I included in the book.  It is a simple work but it comes from the heart with a clear sense of conviction from the Lord.  If you choose to purchase a copy, I pray the Lord would speak to your heart through it.  If you would like to purchase a copy please click_here.htm
