This ministry to parents is offered one Friday (nearly) every month, year round from 5:30p.m.- 10:00p.m. The cost is donation only.

Mothers Day Out

On Mondays and Thursdays, First Baptist offers a preschool program for children ages 0-4. Each class is taught by loving teachers who provide a wholesome group experience for young children.

We meet every 1st Wednesday of the month from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in Room 213.

Missions Programs

Mission Friends, Girls in Action (GA’s) and Royal Ambassadors (RA’s) give children an opportunity to learn about Southern Baptist missionaries around the world.

Children's New Discoveries Class

A "New Discoveries" class taught by Randy & Kyle Cumby is designed to celebrate a child's decision to follow Christ.  It is a one-time session that covers basic principles for Christian living, including assurance of salvation, the meaning and "how-to's" of baptism and the Lord's Supper, in the process of growing in Christ through a daily quiet time.  The class will be offered once a quarter, beginning April 29th from 9:15AM to 12:00 noon in room 215.  The class is for 1st through 6th graders.  For more information please call the Preschool/Children's office at 482-1777 or email jrussell@fbcaltus.org.
